12 Must Have Plugins For Your Blog
People ask me all the time what the most important plugins are for a WordPress blog. This infographic below shows 12 top WordPress plugins. I use some form or version of all these types of plugins.
These are important aspects to think about and take care of on your blog — SEO, spam, security (trust me: getting hacked is a huge pain!), caching, etc.
At this time, I don’t pay for any of my plugins. There’s a free version of almost everything. I’m not against it though. Your blog is your website and a legitimate, valuable business expense.
I found this on pinterest and it’s made by WPJEDI.com.
Leave a comment below if you have any plugin questions!

Your WHY Will Determine Your Success In Network Marketing
I’m taking a class from Ray Higdon called Vibrational Money Immersion. Our assignment for Module 3 was to develop faith by studying one person who came from a rough background to abundance.
I learned that my WHY will determine my success in network marketing.
Your Search For Meaning
I read Man’s Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl.
Frankl was born in 1905 in Vienna, Austria, to Jewish parents. He had one sister. He passed away in 1997.
He was a neurologist, psychiatrist, and brain surgeon before WWII. He is famous for the best selling book Man’s Search for Meaning, which he wrote describing life as a concentration camp prisoner from the (relatively) objective view of a psychiatrist.
In 1942, he was deported to his first concentration camp. His wife and parents died in various camps. He was liberated in 1945 by Americans.
What’s Your Why?
“He who has a Why to live for can bear almost any How.” Frankl
During his 3 years in the concentration camps, Frankl experienced
- severe hunger
- sleep deprivation
- bodily bug infestation
- sickness (though relatively little compared to others)
- extreme cold
- lack of clothes
- shoes with holes in them
- slave labor digging trenches and railway lines in rock solid frozen ground
- constant death around him
- physical abuse
- probably the worst, mental and emotional abuse from SS guards and Jews that had been promoted to “guard” positions.
Through it all he remained hopeful, positive, and kind. He went out of his way to help others who were depressed and losing hope. He played mind games and would remove himself from his physical situation by thinking of his wife and his love for her and about how he would help people when he got out.
Do You Have A Vision?
“The prisoner who had lost faith in the future–his future– was doomed.” Frankl
Helping suicidal prisoners in the camps, he came to realize they had given up hope for the future. The people, like himself, who thought about and made plans for what they would do when they got out were the strongest people there.
(Lesson: Vision is critical. We require a 5 year and 10 year vision for our lives).
In these camps, he came to his hallmark conclusion that even in the most absurd, painful and dehumanized situation, life has potential meaning and that therefore even suffering is meaningful. (Wikipedia)
What’s Your Inner Decision?
“In the final analysis it becomes clear that the sort of person the prisoner became was the result of an inner decision, and not the result of camp influences alone. Fundamentally, therefore, any man can, even under such circumstances, decide what shall become of him–mentally and spiritually.” Frankl
The exact translation of German from his best selling book, Man’s Search for Meaning, is “Saying Yes to Life in Spite of Everything”.
In your every day life, you can “say yes to life”, yes to your business, yes to yourself and to moving forward in spite of everything, no matter what’s going on around you.
NOTHING I ever experience could be as painful as what the concentration camp prisoners endured. They lost their families, every belonging they ever owned, their dignity, their sense of self, of importance, of making a difference. In the camps, they were only referred to as a number, never a name.
No matter how hard network marketing may seem, no matter how challenging running a business appears, no matter what the little nagging daily occurrences that seem to hold you back, you have family and friends, the support of mentors and peers, your dignity, self worth, many possessions and resources, your health, and your freedom.
I used to (silently) complain about how hard things are, about what I don’t have and that’s why I’m not successful. What a joke. I have everything I need and more to be wildly successful. You probably do too.
It’s simply a matter of re-programming our minds, building new habits and doing the work that needs to be done to get the results.

How Do You Build A Client Base?
One reader, Thomas, asked me “How do I build a client base?” That’s a broad question that can go many directions. Let’s start with the basics. (Look for specific posts on how to do this with social media soon.)
Getting Started With Your Client Base
Every business starts from scratch. Every successful entrepreneur, whether a brick and mortar business, salesman, or network marketer, starts with 0 clients. When you look at Richard Branson, your insurance salesman, Randy Gage or Ray Higdon and see how successful they are, remember they were brand new too.
Your first step is to start.
If you’re a network marketer, your first step is to start generating leads and connections that may be interested in what you’re selling. This may be people you know, people you meet, or people who join your list.
If you’re an internet marketer, an autoresponder like Aweber is a MUST. This is your “online” client base.
When you’re building a business online, you start just like any other business — with marketing.
- Place ads.
- Get people to read your ads.
- Get them to take action.
For example, you could place a facebook ad. Make it compelling so people click to find out more. Then have them opt in to a lead capture page.
BOOM! Your first lead and possible client.
Maintaining Your Client Base
Once you figure out how to get one lead or client, you can figure out how to get 10. Then 20. Then 100.
Building a client base or an email list isn’t magical. It’s asking one person at a time to take a look at you and your offer.
Then take care of these people.
Ask yourself:
- What’s your niche (your area of expertise)?
- What did you talk about to get them to opt in or join your client base?
- What are they looking for?
- How can you help them?
Answer those questions, then do it. Give it to them. If you answer their questions, help them and give them what they want, they’ll listen to you, they’ll like you and eventually they’ll buy from you.
Growing Your Client Base
Your client base is never standing still. It’s always changing. People will leave your client base.
Your mission is to keep it growing. Add more people to your client base than people that leave.
Let’s say you have a steady stream of facebook leads coming in. Then try something else. Try a new lead source. Head over to Empire Avenue and make new connections. Get some twitter followers, send out some valuable tweets and meet new clients that way.
The options are endless. Just like any business person, keep doing what works, but keep expanding your circle of friends and learning new skills.
Your current and your new clients will appreciate you and your dedication to helping them.
An easy way I’ve found to build my network marketing client base online is through an online marketing system My Lead System Pro. They have a $1 2-week trial. Try it out if you’re struggling with network marketing leads.
